The Gothic50 is one of the boards that has gotten close to being the perfect sub 60% board. I am a huge fan of the Prime_E but while I can survive without numbers and arrows, having arrows is fairly handy. Some downsides of this layout for me are that it only has 4 1.25u bottom row mods and the shift key is 1u. However, I do like having the extra three keys on the top right.
I built this board with Gateron Ink Yellow switches, lubed with 205g0 and filmed with yellow TX films. This was my first time using Gateron Ink Yellows and I thought they would go well with the beautiful Gothic50 PCB. The switches sound amazing on this acrylic board, easily one of my favorite sounding boards.
The case is frosted acrylic but I also ordered a frosted matte white acrylic top. This is my first time seeing frosted matte white acrylic and I love it. It does not look cheap and oozes aesthetic.
